Llangafelach School Visit

On Friday we had a school visit from our local Primary School Llangafelach. We had to creat different activities using the different ICT avaliable.
We had a year 2 class and a year 6 class of children. I was based in the year 2 class as i have chosen to base myself in the Foundation phase.

We had to base all our activites on the use of Web 2 technologies.

In my group there wa Myself, Vicky and Rhiannon. We had the programme of Crazy talk. Wew had to take pictures of the children and then they had too adjust them, changing their eyes and mouths. They had to record what they were saying about their homes and make their mouth move at the same time.

The other activities were, Photo story, 2 DIY and the roamer.

All the children seemed to enjoy themselves and all liked the activites which we had dome with them.

I feel that i got alot out of the visit and will feel more comfortable using ICT whoilst i am on school placement.

My First Ever Blog

Well this is my first ever blog.......never used anything like this before.
Currently i am studying to be a Primary School teacher.
Hopefully i will pass my degree and become fully qualified in the year 2011.
I am looking forward to become a teacher and being in charge of my own classroom.
I am studying my degree in Swansea Metropolitan which is my home town.
I like living in Swansea as i have my closest friends with me and enjoy the town.
